Tile is where the company started, a craft few in the area had mastered, and one that kept John working through Maine's long winters. This bathroom shows it at full stretch: a walk-in shower built around a hand-laid black-and-white pebble mosaic peak, set against marble-look slabs and finished over a heated charcoal-slate floor.

The work was documented start to finish, from the first stone sample through waterproofing most people never see, to the glass-enclosed shower. The last ten percent of a build is where craft shows, the tight joints, the true lines, and the details you feel before you can name them.

A radiant heated floor, every surface waterproofed behind the tile, and a stone mosaic set piece by piece, no shortcuts where they don't show.
